KAPL SOCIAL PTY LTD (ABN 91 687 836 077) ("KAPL Social", "we", "us") handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it.
Last updated: 22 September 2026
When you contact us or request a visibility check, we collect your name, email address, the name and website of your firm, the markets you sell into, and anything else you choose to tell us.
If you become a client, we also collect the contact details of the people we work with at your firm, information about your business needed to deliver our services, and billing details.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health, racial or religious information, and ask that you do not send it to us.
Our website does not use cookies or analytics tools to track visitors.
We collect personal information directly from you — through our website form, by email, by phone or in meetings. When we run a visibility check, we also review publicly available information about your firm, such as your website, social media profiles and what AI assistants and search engines say about you.
We use your personal information to respond to your enquiry, run your free visibility check, provide and manage our services, send you reports and invoices, improve our services, and meet our legal obligations.
We will only send you marketing communications if you have agreed to receive them, and every such message will include a way to unsubscribe. We do not sell or rent personal information.
We share personal information only as needed to run our business and deliver our services, including with:
providers of email, website hosting, cloud storage and business software; the third-party GEO and monitoring platforms we use to deliver client work, to the extent needed to carry out that work; our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers; and government agencies or others where we are required or authorised by law.
We require these parties to handle personal information only for the purpose we provide it.
Some of our service providers and platforms store or process information outside Australia. We also work with clients in mainland China, Taiwan and Singapore, and information relating to those engagements may be accessed from those places. Before disclosing personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We store personal information electronically with reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls and password protection. When we no longer need personal information, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why.
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
